Yoga and Wellness Festivals are growing in popularity, and that means you don’t have to travel across the world to find like minded people and refresh and recharge.
Most Yoga festivals are somewhere between a retreat and a music festival. Activities are provided, as well as music, food stalls, talks, art and inspiration.
Here are a few of our favourite Yoga Festivals to check out over Summer 2019 in the UK.
World Yoga Festival

The World Yoga Festival takes place in large carpeted Marquees beside the river Thames in Reading.
Over 4 days it offers you the chance to take part in yoga asana from many different lineages and learn from some of the best yoga and meditation teachers. There is also a world food market to keep you sustained.
Tickets start from £79 for an adult day ticket and camping and glamping facilities are available.
Brighton Yoga Festival

The UK’s second largest Yoga Festival is now in it’s 6th year and growing each year.
The eco-friendly event aims to be as plastic free as possible and features a wellbeing marketplace, yoga class and talks, live music and a meditation zone.
The event is run on a pay-what-you-can basis and the funds generated help the Brighton Yoga Foundation run yoga outreach projects.

If you’re looking for something a bit different, then this one day festival held in Battersea Park promises a “Yoga Triathlon”. Take part in a 5k run, followed by 75 minutes of yoga and a 25 minute guided meditation.
